In her science fiction The Memoirs of a Survivor,Doris Lessing subtly examines environmental issues and women's issues prevalent in the current world from the point of view of her heroine Emily.Based on the ecofeminist theory,this article aims to explore Lessing's profound consideration of the three binary oppositions between human beings and nature,male and female,female and nature,their future enlightenments and ecofeminist consciousness in The Memoirs of a Survivor.Lessing's ecofeminist consciousness provides a reference for solving the increasingly prominent ecological crisis and alleviating the intensified gender contradictions in contemporary society,and also presupposes the ecological and gender imperatives involved in the current community with a shared future for mankind.
