Chinese Modernization in the Perspective of Marx's Theory of World History

基于马克思世界历史理论视域审视中国式现代化,不仅能够获得一种超越传统革命史观和现代化史观以及超越“刺激—反应论”“传统/现代二元论”“帝国主义论”等既有解释模式的新阐释视角,而且可以深刻揭示中国革命和中国现代化的内在逻辑关系、科学阐明中国式现代化的历史脉动和推进路径。在马克思世界历史理论视域内,中国式现代化的历史脉动可以通过新民主主义革命时期的“创造”、新中国成立后的“奠定”、改革开放和社会主义建设新时期的“提供”、新时代中国特色社会主义的“推进”等历时态梳理得到精进把握,其推进路径则可经由学术论断层面的“宏大历史叙事”得以结构性测度。

Viewing Chinese modernization from the perspective of Marx's theory of world history not only offers a perspective that transcends traditional views of revolution and modernization,as well as prevailing explanatory models such as“stimulus-response theory,”“traditional/modern dichotomy,”and“imperialism theory,”but also unveils the intrinsic logical relationship between China's revolution and modernization.Moreover,it scientifically elucidates the historical pulse and path of Chinese modernization.In the framework of Marx's theory of world history,the historical pulse of Chinese modernization can be systematically understood through various phases:the“creation”during the period of the New Democratic Revolution,the“establishment”after the founding of New China,the“provision”during the reform and opening-up era and the socialist construction period,and the“successful advancement and expansion”in the era of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The path of this modernization can be structurally assessed through the“grand historical narrative”presented at the academic discourse level.
