This paper describes the characteristics of relay protection, the problems in the management mode of power supply system relay protection operation, and explores innovative strategies for the management mode of power grid relay protection operation, including microcomputer protection devices, relay protection triple check, relay protection device inspection and maintenance, and distribution panel inspection.
