Electrical product failures often lead to incidents such as electric shock and fire that damage personal and property safety.Therefore,in safety testing,fault testing is an important part.Its method is to set some faults manually to assess whether the product can safely fail in the event of a fault.If possible,even if the product malfunctions during normal use,accidents will not occur,which adds an important layer of safety guarantee to the product.This article takes the fault testing of universally used self-ballasted lamps as an example to introduce in detail the test conditions,test procedures,and result judgment of fault testing,providing reference for lamp development and testing personnel.
