作为滇剧演出班社,罗记群舞台在有限的内循环经济体系中探索,这代表的是滇剧在市场向度的实践努力。但从历史事实来看,这一探索的结果并不成功,因为,在一个社会经济总量不断缩水的战时大环境里,文化产品并不能够自由发展,于是,官办色彩的云南戏剧改进社应运而生。对于滇剧来说,从罗记群舞台到云南戏剧改进社的演变,其中有一个滇剧从商业产品走向政治附属的转变。这种转变既是经济市场下行背景下的无奈选择,也是云南滇剧战时困顿的典型表现。
