张圣奘(1903-1992)祖籍湖北蒲圻(今赤壁)人,出生于湖北江陵(今荆州)。现当代文化名人。博涉文、史、哲、经、管、艺、医,通诗词、擅丹青,精书法、研岐黄,喜收藏、能舞剑。但关于张圣奘生平众说纷纭,充满传奇色彩。论文在梳理张圣奘生平基础上,利用第一手文献资料,对张圣奘生平若干重要环节,包括其身世、北大学习、海外留学、主要工作履历、发现“资阳人”、学术成果等进行了初步探讨。

ZHANG Sheng-zang(1903-1992)was born in Jiangling(now Jingzhou),Hubei,with his ancestral home in Puqi(now Chibi),Hubei.Contemporary cultural celebrities.He dabbled widely in literature,history,philosophy,economics,management,art,and medicine.He was proficient in poetry,painting and calligraphy.He studied Chinese medicine,liked collecting and wielding swords.There are various opinions about ZHANG Sheng-zang's life,which is full of legend.On the basis of sorting out ZHANG Sheng-zang's life,the paper makes use of the first-hand documents and materials to explore preliminarily several important aspects of ZHANG Sheng-zang's life,including his background,Peking University studies,overseas studies,main work experience,the discovery of"Ziyang people",academic achievements,etc.
