The article analyzes the propeller racing fault of a marine diesel engine generator during operation.According to analyze the working principle of the governor and the fuel shutdown device,and to find the fault cause.Speed overshoot of the governor leads to the fault,and the fuel shutdown device failure of the marine diesel engine generator leads to speed overshoot of the governor.It eliminates the failure by adjusting and repairing the governor,fuel shutdown device,and solenoid valve for the control air system.
