As a Folk art in Shaanxi,Gansu and Ningxia,Longdong Shadow Play is one of China's Intangible cultural heritage.Due to its close geographical location and the same historical and cultural roots,the local shadow play in Longdong is affected by the shadow play in Dongdao,Shaanxi,both in shape and workmanship.In Plastic arts,he is big,exquisite,and bright,forming his own unique artistic style.Combining the distinctive colors and unique patterns of Longdong shadow puppetry with modern design is an effective way to inherit and develop shadow puppetry culture.At the same time,it can add national spirit and simple artistic effects to modern design,and spread excellent traditional Chinese culture.This article mainly explores the historical development and cultural connotations of Longdong shadow puppetry,specifically introduces the styling style and color characteristics of Longdong shadow puppetry,as well as the inheritance and innovative application of Longdong shadow puppetry in modern design.
