This paper expounds that substations are an important component of the power system and play an important role in the process of power supply.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the operational safety and quality of substations.It analyzes the operation and maintenance strategies of substation equipment,and the role of secondary equipment cannot be ignored.In addition,secondary equipment may have some faults due to external environment and internal factors during operation.If these faults are not effectively solved,the operational safety issues of the substation cannot be effectively controlled.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the management and maintenance of secondary equipment.From the perspective of organizing the operation,maintenance,and management of secondary equipment,it involves a lot of content.It is necessary to comprehensively analyze the operation status of secondary equipment and develop maintenance and management strategies,modes,and methods based on actual needs.In this way,the operation,maintenance,and management effectiveness of secondary equipment in substations will be significantly improved.
