Local culture contains excellent traditional Chinese culture and is an important way for higher vocational colleges to implement fostering virtue through education.The article takes Tangshan local culture as an example to explore the significance,current situation and path of integrating excellent local culture into fostering virtue through education in higher vocational colleges,aiming to better inherit the excellent Chinese culture and enhance the cultural education level of higher vocational education.
