汉译动感递增论

On Incrementally Increasing Vividness in English to Chinese Translation

汉语极具动感,不似英语受制于词类规则与语法变化。基于锤炼动词、交错句式、巧借通感等翻译策略,提出以动译动、化静为动和强化动感的汉译三层递增机制,以期层层增强从文学翻译到应用翻译的汉译动态感,绘声绘色且绘形,求得鲜明生动的汉译效果。

Chinese language is extremely vivid.Compared with English,it’s less constrained by part of speech and syntactic rules.Based on the translation strategies of polishing verbs,alternating sentence patterns,and leveraging synaesthesia,this paper proposes a three-level mechanism to incrementally add vividness to the Chinese target text in English to Chinese translation,i.e.translating verbs as they are,converting static words into dynamic ones,and strengthening vividness through rhythmic translations,so as to increase the vividness of the Chinese translated text in literary or applied translation,reproducing the voice,color and form of the original.
