With the development of science and technology,VR technology has been widely used in many fields.VR technology has advantages in audio-visual and perceptual aspects.It can highly simulate scenes and integrate massive resources,which greatly makes up for the limitations of traditional classroom conditions and creates visualized,all-dimensional and immersive experience scenes for English learners,meeting the environmental needs of oral learning in a high match.Immersive virtual reality learning environment provides more vivid training scenes and ultra-high simulation experience for college students to practice oral English.The reform of oral English teaching in colleges and universities will be more innovative and practical if VR technology is used in oral English teaching.Based on the characteristics of VR technology,it is of practical significance to explore the application strategies of VR technology in oral English teaching in colleges and universities.
