归化与异化翻译策略指导下中药学常用术语英译研究

Study of English Translation of Traditional Chinese Pharmacology Terms under the Guidance of Domestication and Foreignization

随着中医药“走出去”重要战略的实施,中医药的对外传播离不开翻译这一重要桥梁,尤其是中医药术语翻译的重要性愈发凸显。本文以中药学常用术语为研究对象,分析当前中药学术语翻译中存在的一些问题,并指出如何在归化与异化翻译策略指导下,采取恰当的翻译方法和技巧,准确翻译出这些术语的内涵,进而推动中药文化走向国际。

With the implementation of the important strategy of traditional Chinese medicine's“going global”,translation of TCM,especially the translation of TCM terms,has become an essential bridge in the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine.This paper takes the commonly used terms of traditional Chinese pharmacology as the research object,analyzes some problems existing in the translation of these terms,and finally puts forward the suggestion:appropriate translation methods and techniques under the guidance of domestication and foreignization translation strategies should be adopted to accurately translate the connotation of these terms in order to promote the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
