摘要
我国同声传译职业与教学发展迅猛,但同声传译译员能力实证研究匮乏。本研究通过态度问卷与自我报告问卷,结合访谈,了解译员与学员对同声传译译员能力构成的认知及能力自评情况。结果显示:译员与学员对同声传译译员子能力重要性认知总体接近,译员子能力评分(尤其是技能与语言大类)显著高于学员,译员与学员外语能力、译员少数技能子能力与学员全部技能子能力评分排序较低。本研究发现有助于优化同声传译课程的设置与定位、入学选拔、教学设计与实施、质量监控等,也有助于完善译员资格认证,构建市场准入体系,推进服务质量监控与译员在职进修,还可促进口译能力研究。
Simultaneous interpreting(SI)is an expanding profession and program,yet research on simultaneous interpreter competence remains limited.In this study,we conducted attitude surveys on professional interpreters and SI trainees to assess their perceptions of competence components,followed by self-report surveys on their self-assessment of(sub)competences,and interviews.Our results indicate that interpreters and trainees have similar perceptions of competence components.However,interpreters rated their(sub)competences,particularly in skills and language,notably higher than trainees.Both groups ranked language competence low,along with a few skill subcompetences of interpreters and all skill subcompetences of trainees.Our findings have implications for SI pedagogy,including curriculum design,admission testing,course delivery,and quality control,as well as for SI professionalization,such as interpreter certification,market entry,service quality control,continuing education,and interpreting competence research.
