Online Denunciation and Its Sociopragmatic Motivations

作为一种公开谴责,网络谴责具有维系公共秩序、实现社会管理的重要作用。本文以针对高铁霸座不当行为的网络评论为语料,探讨公共网络语境下公开谴责的实现方式及其社会语用理据。研究发现,网民主要通过针对霸座乘客的负面道德评价、谴责类元语用情感、道德贬损型人称指示语、反问句等四种负面元语用评价方式实施公开谴责。这些话语谴责方式隐藏着说话人的社会语用动因,包括彰显、建构和维系相关的公共秩序。本文意在体现社会现实语境下的语用问题、语用表现和语用理据,凸显当代语用学研究的社会问题趋势及社会性特征。

As a type of public denunciation,online denunciation plays an important role in maintaining public order and realizing social management.Drawing upon negative comments on the inappropriate behavior of high-speed railway hegemony in social media,this study examines the linguistic realizations of public denunciations and their underlying sociopragmatic motivations.The analysis finds that the netizens mainly use four types of metapragmatic comments to implement public denunciations.Namely,negatively moral evaluations,other-condemning metapragmatic emotions,moral derogative person referents,and rhetorical questions.Further analysis uncovers the sociopragmatic motivations underlying these online denunciations,including highlighting,constructing,and maintaining relevant public orders.This research dedicates to reflecting the pragmatic topics,pragmatic acts,and pragmatic motivations in the context of social reality.Moreover,it shows the trend of research on social issues and social features.
