追求进步,是青年最宝贵的特质,也是党和人民最殷切的希望。培育新时代青年模范是凝聚全面建设社会主义现代化国家磅礴伟力的战略需求,是营造广大青年创先争优的良好社会氛围的现实诉求,也是激发青年个体向上向善力量的内在要求。新时代青年模范内涵丰富,主要包括理想远大,信念坚定,刻苦学习、锐意创新,敢于斗争、善于斗争,艰苦奋斗、无私奉献,崇德向善、严守纪律等内容。新时代青年模范不是自发形成的,需要从目标牵引、理论武装、专业训练、实践铸就四个方面着力培养。

The pursuit of progress is both the most precious trait of youth and the most ardent hope of the Party and the people.Cultivating young role models in the new era is a strategic need to stimulate the great power of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way,a practical appeal to create a good social atmosphere in which the majority of young people strive for excellence,and an internal requirement to stimulate the upward force of young people for good.The connotation of young role models in the new era is profound,mainly including lofty ideals,firm beliefs,diligent learning,determination to innovate,courage to fight,good at fighting,hard work,selfless dedication,advocating virtue and doing good,and strict discipline.The formation of young role models in the new era is not spontaneous,and efforts need to be made to cultivate them from four aspects:goal oriented,theoretical armed,professional training,and practical development.
