Microsilage is a kind of feed that is stably stored and reduces the loss of nutrients through the intervention of microorganisms.Compared with traditional feed,the advantages of microsilage feed are easy storage,good palatability and high nutritional value,which improve the intestinal health of animals and improve their production performance.The paper introduces definition and classification of microsilage and discussed the factors affecting the quality of microsilage and the application of microsilage in ruminant breeding,in order to further improve the performance and breeding efficiency of ruminants as well as provide reference for the application of silage in ruminants and industrial development.
