In the development of overseas oil and gas field projects,promoting energy conservation and emissions reduction not only entails dealing with complex processes,substantial investments,and intricate management procedures but also requires a synergy between policy compliance and management principles.This article primarily highlights the key challenges faced by Chinese enterprises in the process of developing oil and gas field projects overseas.It offers management strategies to address these challenges and,based on practical experience,takes effective measures to achieve energy conservation and efficiency goals.The aim is to propagate good practices in energy management by Chinese enterprises,promoting green and low-carbon development,and realizing the“dual carbon”goals as scheduled.
