Steel slag,as a common industrial waste,has been widely used in soil and groundwater remediation,road construction,and construction site f illing.This article provides an overview of the sources and composition,physical and chemical properties of steel slag,as well as its application in soil remediation and groundwater management,and discusses its composite application with other materials.Research has shown that steel slag has a promising application prospect in soil and groundwater remediation,and its remediation effect and economic benef its can be further improved through composite application with other materials.
