Academic history is an important component of the theoretical construction of a discipline.Dr.AN Lizhe's Essentials of the Chinese Anthropology of Art(1980-2020)is a research work on the academic history of constructing native Chinese anthropology of art.This book explores the multiple constructions of native theories in Chinese anthropology of art by examining the development history and theoretical characteristics of Western anthropology of art that studies theoretical elements of anthropology of art from four perspectives,that is,the key issues,research objects,disciplinary indicators and disciplinary attributes.The research achievements collected by China Society for Anthropology of Art,which is the most important theoretical exchange platform for Chinese anthropology of art,have laid the foundation for the construction of native theories in Chinese anthropology of art.
