The Fairwork Foundation:Alternative Practices and Enlightenments of Labor Governance of Global Gig Work Platforms

本文聚焦全球零工劳动者在工作中遭遇的诸多困境,以公平工作委员会为例,阐释与探究全球零工平台劳动治理的另类实践与启示,以求协调零工经济创新发展与零工劳动者劳动保护之间的动态平衡。社会组织作为零工平台劳动治理主体具有重要的现实意义,在建构全球体面劳动与推进零工经济的可持续发展方面发挥着积极作用,有助于实现政府、平台与社会之间治理结构的制衡与协作。

From the theoretical perspective of the political economy of communication,this article focuses on a number of difficulties encountered by global gig workers in their work.Taking the Fairwork Foundation as an example,it also discusses and explores alternative practices and enlightenments of labour governance of global gig work platforms,in order to coordinate the dynamic balance between the innovative development of the gig economy and the labour protection of gig workers.Transnational social organizations are of great practical significance as the main body of labour governance of gig work platforms.They play an active role in the construction of decent work at the global level and in the promotion of sustainable development of global gig economy,which helps to realize checks and balances and collaboration between government regulation,platform good governance,and social governance.
