互联网的出现带来了新形式的叙事,也可能形成叙事生产和意义的新解释。本文选择“与癌共舞”在线论坛作为研究对象,采用主题叙事分析的方法进行数据分析。研究揭示了在线癌症叙事的三大主题:第一,叙事者不断重建自己的身份,建构出患癌前后的“我”“自救者”及重新评估当下和未来的“我”;第二,癌症群体通过讲述复杂情感、理解生命与死亡的意义,以及依靠超现实力量来获得精神寄托与救赎;第三,在线社区成为癌症患者及家人获得情感支持的重要来源,他们在此寻求归属感、塑造精神领袖以及分享生活隐私。最后,本文讨论了在线癌症叙事的理论与实践意义。

The emergence of the Internet has brought about new forms of narrative,and may also affect the ways of cancer narrative production and interpretation.The authors conducted a thematic narrative analysis of the Dancing with Cancer forum,attempting to explore the meaning making of online narrative for cancer patients and their families.The study reveals three main themes of online cancer narrative.First,narrators constantly rebuild their identities,constructing the"self"before and after cancer diagnosis,"the self-savior"and the"self"who re-evaluates the present and the future.Second,the cancer group gains spiritual sustenance and redemption by talking about complex emotions,understanding the meaning of life and death,and relying on surreal power.Third,online narrative space has become an important source of emotional support,in which the patients and their family members attempt tofind a sense of belonging,build spiritual leaders,and share life secrets.Finally,this article discussed the theoretical and practical implications of online cancer narrative.
