“技术网络”与“意义点位”:作为纪念碑的基础设施研究

"Technological Network"and"Meaning Site":Infrastructure as Monument

近年来,中国的基础设施建设成为世界性议题,基础设施的社会政治意义在国内外引起了重视。本研究发现,基础设施可以被视作一种“技术纪念碑”。这种纪念碑相较于传统意义上以纪念功能为其目的的纪念碑多出了一个“技术”面向,从而带来了更多的意义可能性。研究结合基础设施研究、技术政治、纪念碑性的观点,借助1949年以来的两个大型基础设施案例,考察基础设施如何体现它的技术纪念碑特性;同时也尝试为我们理解中国基础设施的社会政治意义提供多元视角。

In recent years,China's infrastructure construction and its socio-political significance have come under the global spotlight.To analyze this infrastructural significance,we conceptualize infrastructure as a"technological monument".Since this kind of monument has an additional technological or functional aspect compared to the traditional monument,it is necessary to re-examine the scope of monumentality in the context of infrastructure theories.To this end,this study observes how infrastructures embody their technological monumentality with two Chinese cases,combining the perspectives of infrastructure studies,technopolitics and monumentality theory.Meanwhile,it also tries to provide a perspective for understanding the socio-political significance of China's infrastructure construction.
