融通中西凸显人民——刘文西人物画探析

Integrating Chinese and Western Painting Techniques and Creating People-oriented Artworks:An Analysis of Liu Wenxi’s Figure Paintings

刘文西的人物画既有传统中国画的用线特点与娴熟的笔墨表现,又融合西方艺术造型如比例、结构、明暗、透视、空间等因素,使之成为融通中西艺术表现最具代表性的现当代画家之一。本文以此为出发点,探讨刘文西在融通中西艺术表现上的创新,认为刘文西的艺术不仅是时代的一面镜像,更是传承与发展中国传统艺术,借鉴与吸收西方艺术的典范。

In creating figure paintings,Liu Wenxi was skilled at adopting traditional brushstroke techniques and integrating proportion,structure,light and shade,perspective,space and other factors of western paintings,making him one of the most representative contemporary artists who are famous for integrating Chinese and western techniques.Taking this as an entry,this paper discusses Liu’s new ways of adopting Chinese and western techniques,and believes that his artworks are not only a mirror reflecting the era,but also a model that carries forward and promotes the development of traditional Chinese art while learning from western art.
