南洋美专与中国近现代美术的海外传播(1938—1941)

Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the Spread of Modern Chinese Art Overseas(1938-1941)

南洋美专自1938年在新加坡开办,至1941年暂时停办,短短4年为中国美术在南洋传播起到了极大的推进作用。本文通过对其美术传播之内在理路与活动史实的具体考察,对其海内外师承关系与风格演变的具体分析,指出南洋美专推动中国现代艺术在海外传播与衍生的双重价值,并引申出对中国近现代美术海内外谱系的整体观照,借此为未来重塑现代民族国家文化形象带来重要依据。

In just four years from 1938 when the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts was opened to 1941 when it was temporarily closed,the Academy has greatly helped spread Chinese art in southeast Asia.This paper,by examining theories and activities regarding art spread and analyzing teachers and their students and their change of style,points out the roles that the Academy played in spreading and developing modern Chinese art overseas,and the overall system of modern Chinese art at home and abroad,thereby providing an important foundation for reshaping the cultural image of modern China in the future.
