变色龙场论及其唯象研究进展

变色龙场是标量张量理论中的一种标量场,用以解释晚期宇宙的加速膨胀现象.与一般标量场不同的是,它与物质场的耦合使其有效质量如同变色龙一般随着周围环境(物质场能量动量张量的迹)的改变而改变.这一独特的变色龙机制使得变色龙场论在众多研究领域具有广泛应用.本文简要回顾变色龙场论,依次探讨它在早期宇宙、引力波观测、暗能量和暗物质统一方案以及光子-光子散射实验等方面的最新进展.

chameleon field is considered responsible for the acceleration of cosmic expansion in the current universe and is a new scalar field predicted in scalar-tensor theories.Due to the change in effective mass with the trace of the energy-momentum tensor of ambient matter fields,the chameleon field,in contrast to ordinary scalar fields,possesses the so-called chameleon mechanism,which makes it behave like a chameleon.Although the chameleon field theory is initially motivated by the dark energy problem,it has been applied to many research fields because of its unique chameleon mechanism.This paper reviews chameleon field theory,and its latest progress in early cosmology,gravitational detection,dark energy and dark matter unification,and photon-photon scattering.
