Chinese characters,one of the most ancient writing systems,are the foundation of the Chinese culture.Many cultural forms derived from the recording and writing methods of Chinese characters besides its own cultural property,the system of which has been developing into the civilization of Chinese characters with the Chinese characters as the center.According to the standards of intangible cultural heritage,Chinese characters possess both the typical property of intangible heritage and unique culture connotation and humanistic function.Meanwhile,the different cultural forms in the civilization of Chinese characters all own the properties of intangible heritage which are facing the great challenge nowadays.The civilization of Chinese characters is the very important cultural heritage which is contributed to the whole world by China whose unique cultural system needs protecting and inheriting.
