Hypertension is one of the common chronic diseases in clinic. The high incidence population of this disease is mostly elderly patients. With the continuous improvement of China's economy and the significant improvement of people's living standards, the pace of life has also changed, which cause most elderly patients to have unreasonable and irregular work and rest habits and eating habits, and improve the incidence risk of hypertension.Without effective nursing intervention on patients with hypertension,it can induce stroke, moderate and severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and coronary heart disease, which poses a serious threat to the lives safety of patients. At present, drug intervention combined with targeted nursing intervention is widely used in clinic to improve the blood pressure of elderly patients with hypertension. However, the use of hypertensive drugs in the elderly should start with a small dose and combine multiple drugs to achieve a good blood pressure reduction effect. The use of a single drug for highdose treatment will not only affect the blood pressure reduction effect, but also increase the risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease. This paper reviews the influencing factors of non-drug treatment of elderly hypertension, and the effects of different community nursing interventions for elderly patients with hypertension,in order to provide assitance for the clinical treatment and nursing of elderly patients with hypertension.
