Theoretical Hypothesis and Research Exploration of Social Group Im-pression Evaluation

群体是社会心理学研究的基本范畴,是多学科关注的领域。群体刻板印象研究形成了一些有影响的理论,由于“群体”与“社会群体”概念的混用,社会群体印象评价的理论和方法需要做进一步探索。在大量研究的基础上,中国学者依据群体的社会属性,将社会群体定义为由相同社会身份与行为特征的人所构成的具有一定规模和边界的人群集合,指出社会群体的客观属性和知觉属性直接影响对社会群体的印象评价,并从社会分工和社会角色的视角,构建了中国社会群体印象评价的位置-贡献两维模型。本书的13篇文章,即围绕社会群体印象评价主题,分别探讨了社会群体属性对印象评价的影响、文化变量在现实社会群体印象评价中的作用、群体刻板印象的心理加工机制等问题,对探索当代中国社会群体心理,发展社会群体印象的理论与方法都具有一定的启发,也为社会群体印象评价研究提供了参考方向。

Group is a basic category of social psychology and a field of multidisciplinary concern.Some influential theories have been formed in the study of group stereotype.Due to the mixed use of group and social group,the theory and method of social group impression evaluation need to be further explored.According to the social attributes of groups,social groups are defined as a collection of people with a certain scale and boundary composed of people with the same social identity and behavioral characteristics.The objective attributes and perceptual attributes of social groups directly affect the impression evaluation of social groups.From the perspective of social division of labor and social role,we construct a two-dimension theoretical model of position-contribution of Chinese social group impression evaluation.The 13 papers published in this Collection,focusing on the theme of social group impression evaluation,respectively discuss the influence of social group attributes on impression evaluation,the role of cultural variables in evaluating real social group impression,and the psychological processing mechanism of group stereotype,which have important inspiration for exploring the psychology of contemporary Chinese social groups and provide a reference direction for research on social group impression evaluation.
