摘要
学术批评是学术语篇的基本特征之一,是学术创新的重要体现形式。本文基于学术批评行为分析框架考察中外学者发表的英语学术论文,对其中的批评话语进行分析,由此探讨中外学者学术批评行为的异同。研究结果显示,中外学者在批评对象、批评维度、批评方式、批评强度、批评分布位置、批评策略等方面存在不同程度的差异。本文的研究发现对于提升中国学者的学术批评能力、规范其学术批评行为,以及提高其英语学术论文的写作水平具有一定的参考作用,同时可为英语学术写作教学提供启示。
As one of the basic features of academic discourse,academic criticism is an important manifestation of academic innovation.Based on the framework of academic criticism behavior,this paper makes an analysis of the critical discourse of Chinese and foreign scholars by examining examples of academic papers published in English,thus exploring the similarities and differences in the critical behavior of Chinese and foreign scholars.The research results show that there are different degrees of differences between Chinese and foreign scholars in terms of academic criticism objects,criticism dimensions,criticism methods,criticism intensity,criticism distribution positions,and criticism strategies.The findings of this study have practical implications for improving Chinese scholars’academic criticism ability,regulating academic criticism behavior,and improving the writing of English academic papers,as well as providing corresponding reference for the teaching of English academic writing.
