Nadine Gordimer won the Noble prize for literature in 1991.Although the theme of most of her works is about the apartheid,the ecological consciousness runs through her writing.In her novels,Gordimer shows human’s respect to nature,criticizes the various ecological injustices and questions the ecologist and the environmental protection activities.She thinks deeply about the ecological problems,which sheds light on the eco-criticism and ecology construction.
