摘要
随着互联网技术的快速发展和智能手机的普及,信息技术与传统教学实践的结合也变得越来越重要,因此,混合式学习在中国蓬勃发展和流行,特别是在新冠疫情期间和之后。随着大学英语课程的课时和学分的逐渐减少,大学英语教学需要在课堂讲授的基础上扩展更多的教学内容,以促进课外教学和提高学习成效。基于智能学习平台的混合式学习模式成为促进英语学习的新渠道。本研究基于WELearn学习平台,以云南某高职院校4187名学生为研究对象,探索采用线上平台与线下实体课堂相结合的混合式教学模式。结果表明,依托海量的线上线下教学资源和多样的教学任务活动,成功实现了混合式教学,使学生在自主学习中投入更多时间,学习效率更高;学习过程得到保障,学生学习英语的积极性和考试成绩均有提高。混合式学习有利于个性化的学习和教学,也有利于大学英语课程目标的实现。
With the rapid development of Internet technology and the popularity of smart phones,the integration of information technology and traditional teaching practice has become increasingly im⁃portant.As a result,blended learning has gained popularity in China,especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.As the teaching hours and credits of College English courses gradually decrease,there is a need to expand the college English teaching beyond classroom lectures with more teaching contents to promote after-class teaching and learning.Blended learning model based on intelligent learning platform is expected to be a new channel to promote English learning.Based on WELearn learning platform,this study has explored the blended teaching model that combined online platform with physical classroom,in which 4187 students have been involved.The results have shown that by using the massive online and offline teaching resources,as well as various teaching activities,the blended teaching has been realized successfully.This has enabled students to spend more time in self-directed learning with higher learning efficiency.Meanwhile,the learning process has been well-ensured,and students has showed more motivation for English learning which has led to better scores in their test results.Blended learning is not only beneficial for personalized learning and teaching,but also contributes to achieving the objectives of college English course.
