Pavement Techniques for Steel Deck of Pelje ac Sea-Crossing Bridge in Croatia

克罗地亚佩列沙茨跨海大桥为主跨5×285 m的六塔中央单索面钢箱梁矮塔斜拉桥,除塔区主梁采用混凝土梁外,其余均采用钢箱梁,桥宽22.5 m。桥面铺装面临强降水、高温、强紫外线照射、强风、高盐分等不利因素,按照德国ZTV-ING规范进行桥面铺装结构详细设计,防水粘结层采用德国常用的环氧树脂类防水粘结体系(在环氧树脂固化前撒热熔颗粒),沥青结构层采用浇注式沥青混合料MA11S(保护层)+沥青混凝土AC11S(磨耗层),磨耗层的聚合物改性沥青PMB 45/80-65比原设计PMB 45/80-50A提高了软化点。钢桥面铺装施工时,采用3套80 cm宽和3套50 cm宽无尘抛丸机进行抛丸处理;抛丸工作结束后,均匀滚涂防腐底漆和环氧树脂防水材料;MA11S摊铺时,采用摊铺机对中央5.95 m宽的车行道进行全幅摊铺;AC11S摊铺时,采用摊铺机对7.8 m宽的车行道进行整幅摊铺。通过测试,铺装质量满足要求。

The Pelje ac Sea-Crossing Bridge is a six-pylon extradosed bridge with five main spans of 285 m.The stay cables are arranged in single cable planes along the central line of the bridge.Besides the concrete girders in the pylon zones,the remaining girders are all steel box girders,and the deck width reaches 22.5 m.To combat the adverse factors,such as heavy rainfall,high temperature,strong ultraviolet radiation,strong wind and high salinity,the deck pavement was designed in accordance with the German ZTV-ING specifications.Waterproof bonding layer adopts the epoxy resin waterproof system that is commonly used in Germany(sprinkle hot-melt particles before the hardening of epoxy resin),the asphalt layer consists of a protection layer(gussaphalt mixture MA11S)and a wearing layer(asphalt concrete AC11S),in the wearing layer,the softening point of polymer modified bitumen PMB 45/80-65 is higher than that of the original PMB 45/80-50A.During the paving construction of the steel deck,three sets of 80 cm-wide and three sets of 50 cm-wide dust-free shot blasting machines were employed.After shot blasting,the anti-corrosion primer and epoxy resin waterproof material were evenly spread.During the spreading of MA11S,the central 5.95 m-wide vehicle lane was paved by the spreader in full width.During the spreading of AC11S,the 7.8 m-wide vehicle lane was paved by the spreader in full width.The testing proves that the pavement quality meets the requirements.
