The Northwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee during the Yan’an Period was a faithful executor of the party’s united front theory and policy.They combined the party’s requirements with practical work,conducted in-depth investigations and studies,constantly explored ideas and methods to solve specific difficulties and problems,and formed a series of operable policy measures,guiding the united front departments at all levels in the border areas to excellently complete their tasks.The united front work of the Northwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee during the Yan’an Period consolidated the political leadership and democratic system in the border areas,built the border areas into a strong fortress insisting on unity,progress,and democracy,set an example for promoting the national democratic movement,laid a solid foundation for the victory of the New Democratic Revolution,and provided successful experiences and examples for the united front work in all liberated areas across the country.
