People have higher and higher requirements for production quality as the improvement of living standards.Traditional livestock production is mainly labor-intensive,with high cost and difficulty in ensuring product quality.Machine vision is a cutting-edge technology that can provide quality care to livestock and poultry in an automated way,improving production quality and efficiency.This paper introduces the application principle of machine vision technology in livestock production,analyzes the research status of machine vision technology in livestock production,and prospects the development direction of machine vision technology in livestock production,in order to provide reference for the realization of low-cost,high-quality livestock production.
