摘要
作为元宇宙原型的虚拟世界,经历了为支撑技术所定义到被其间的参与者和技术共同定义的历程,延展出从文本到图形的形态变化,以及从商业化到去中心化的架构变化。相应地,对于元宇宙的研究也基本遵循从以技术为中心到社会—技术交互的演化路径。文章梳理并阐释了虚拟世界发展脉络,构建了基于人与技术相互作用的元宇宙研究模型,并指出,元宇宙并不天然地指向实时3D技术带来的感官沉浸,而是由其中参与者之间的联系以及物理世界与数字世界的联系来推动;元宇宙也并非脱离日常生活的特定数字空间,而是在日常生活实践中逐步转型的人机交互范式,以解决问题为导向,通过创造性地使用数字技术,将参与者自身所处的物理世界和其他的人、地点以及信息聚集在一起,成为互联的平行现实。
The virtual world,as the prototype of metaverse,has gone through a journey from being defined by the supporting technology to being jointly defined by the participants and the technology,extending the morphological changes from text to graph⁃ics,and the architectural changes from commercialization to decentralization.Accordingly,the study of metaverse also basically follows the evolutionary path from technology-centered to social-technological interaction.Based on this understanding,this pa⁃per composes and explains the development of virtual worlds and constructs a metaverse observation model based on the interac⁃tion between human and technology.The paper argues that the metaverse does not naturally point to the sensory immersion brought by real-time 3D technology,but is driven by the connections between its participants and the connections between the physical and digital worlds.The metaverse is also not a specific digital space detached from everyday life,but a human-computer interaction paradigm gradually transformed in everyday life practices,oriented to problem solving,which brings together the phys⁃ical world in which the participants themselves live and other people,places and information into an interconnected parallel reali⁃ty through the creative use of digital technologies.
