The Task of Change and Related Challenges in the Face of International Turbulence

党的二十大报告指出,世界正在进入新的动荡变革期。与过去百余年间世界曾先后经历的三次动荡变革期相比,本轮动荡变革周期展现出很多新的特点,它在相当程度上中断了20世纪90年代以来国际合作的努力和趋势,集团对立和冷战重开的风险不断提升。然而,动荡不安的国际形势同样也为国际社会推动全球治理体系变革提供了宝贵的机会。对于中国和世界来说,新的动荡变革期既是严峻的挑战也是宝贵的机遇,国际社会要敢于担当,奋发有为,合理规划,积极应对全球问题的挑战,找到合作与斗争的平衡点,在新的历史条件下建设更加公正合理的国际体系和国际秩序。

The report of the 20^(th) National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the world is entering a new period of turbulence and change.Compared with the three periods of turbulence and change that the world has experienced in the past century,the current cycle of turbulence and change has shown many new characteristics,which,to a considerable extent,has interrupted the efforts and trends of international cooperation since the 1990s.The risk of bloc confrontation and re-emergence of the Cold War has been increasing.However,the turbulent international situation also provides valuable opportunities for the international community to promote the reform of the global governance system.For China and the world,the new period of turbulence and change is both a severe challenge and a precious opportunity.The international community should dare to take responsibility,work hard,make rational plans,actively respond to challenges of global issues,trying to find a balance between cooperation and struggle,and to build a more just and reasonable international system and international order under new historical conditions.
