Fusion and Fission of Chinese and Western Painting Patterns

摘要 合笔画是中国绘画创作的一种形式,早在五代时期民间就已经出现,文人画兴盛以后出现了题诗画,至明清时期供职于画院的画家常常采用合笔创作的方式完成作品,这种合作方式不仅存在于中国画家之间,也出现在中西画家之间。西方传教士画家与中国画家的合笔画是中西绘画交流和碰撞的结果,由此产生了一些新的绘画形式。导致这种新绘画形式产生的因素主要有两种,其一是迎合中国皇帝的审美喜好,其二是中西画家自主探索与交流融合的成果。在民国美术社团中的合笔画更具有社会意义和多元化形式,新中国成立初期出现的政治性命题的集体创作体现了文学艺术为人民服务的宗旨。 Co-painting is a form of China's painting creation.It had appeared as early as the Five Dynasties.After the prosperity of literati painting,poems written on paintings appeared.By the Ming and Qing Dynasties,painters who worked in painting academies often painted together to complete their works.This kind of cooperation not only existed between Chinese painters,but also between Chinese and Western painters.The combined works of Western missionary painters and Chinese painters were the result of exchange and collision between Chinese and Western paintings,which produced new painting patterns.There were mainly two factors leading to this new painting pattern.One was the aesthetic preference of Emperors in China,the other was the independent exploration,exchange and integration between Chinese and Western painters.In the fine arts societies of the Republic of China,co-paintings had diversified forms and more social significance.The collective creation of paintings with political themes in the early days of the People’s Republic of China embodied the pursuit of literature and art for serving the people.
