数字经济对中国式现代化水平的影响效应及作用机制

Effect and Mechanism of Digital Economy on the Level of Chinese Modernization

当前,数字技术蓬勃发展,对推动中国式现代化具有深远的影响。文章从理论上分析了数字经济对中国式现代化水平的影响机制,利用2011—2021年我国省级面板数据,在测度数字经济与中国式现代化水平的基础上,运用多种计量模型多维度实证检验了两者的关系。结果表明:(1)数字经济能够显著提升中国式现代化水平,在稳健性检验后该结论依然成立。(2)就作用机制而言,创新能力、产业结构升级和经济韧性是数字经济提高中国式现代化水平的3个重要渠道。(3)空间溢出分析结果表明,数字经济不仅会促进本地区现代化水平提升,也会对周边地区现代化水平提升产生显著的促进作用。(4)在区域异质性上,东部地区数字经济对现代化水平的积极效应强于中西部地区。

Currently,digital technology is booming and has far-reaching implications for promoting Chinese modernization.This paper theoretically analyzes the influencing mechanism of digital economy on the level of Chinese modernization.Then,based on China's provincial panel data from 2011 to 2021,and on the basis of measuring the digital economy and the level of Chinese modernization,the paper uses a variety of econometric models to multi-dimensionally and empirically test the relationship between the two.The results are shown as the following:(1)Digital economy can significantly enhance the level of Chinese modernization,and this conclusion still holds after the robustness test.(2)In terms of the mechanism of action,innovation capability,industrial structure upgrading and economic resilience are the three important channels through which digital economy enhances the level of Chinese modernization.(3)The results of spatial spillover analysis show that digital economy will not only promote the modernization level of the region,but also significantly promote the modernization level of the neighboring regions.(4)In terms of regional heterogeneity,the positive effect of digital economy on the level of modernization in the eastern region is stronger than that in the central and western regions.
