Role of Amino Acids in Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease

炎症性肠病(IBD)是一组病因尚未阐明的慢性非特异性肠道炎症性疾病,主要包括溃疡性结肠炎(UC)和克罗恩病(CD)。黏膜愈合是目前治疗IBD的主要目标,其可明显降低手术率和复发率。氨基酸为生物体内重要的营养物质和能量底物,是促进肠道生长,维持肠道黏膜完整和屏障功能的必需物质。研究表明氨基酸在促进IBD黏膜愈合中具有独特优势。本文就氨基酸在IBD治疗中的作用作一综述。

Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a group of chronic non-specific intestinal inflammatory diseases with unclear etiology,mainly including ulcerative colitis(UC)and Crohn’s disease(CD).Mucosal healing is regarded as the primary therapeutic goal in IBD,which can significantly reduce the rates of surgery and recurrence.Amino acids are essential nutrient and energy substrate to promote intestinal growth,maintain intestinal mucosal integrity and barrier function.Studies have shown that amino acids had a unique advantage in promoting mucosal healing in IBD.This article reviewed the role of amino acids in the treatment of IBD.
