耿文光目录学思想的承旧启新与晚清目录学转型

Geng Wenguang’s Bibliography Thought Inheriting the Old and Enlightening the New andthe Transformation of Bibliography in Late Qing Dynasty

在时代变迁和个人理念的综合影响下,耿文光的目录学思想在承继以《四库全书总目》为代表的考据传统的同时,又对《总目》的学术取向作出很多突破,表现在灵活变通的类目设置、普惠初学的读书之法、实用为主的版本著录、调和汉宋的学术取向、针砭俗学的批判意识等方面。耿文光的目录学思想兼具“开明”与“保守”的特征,开启了晚清目录学的转型,具有承上启下的作用。将耿文光的学术实践放在近代学术范式的形成背景下进行研究具有重要意义。

Under the comprehensive influence of time changes and personal ideas,Geng Wenguang’s bibliography thought not only inherits the traditional scholarship represented by the General Catalogue of Siku Quanshu,but also makes many breakthroughs in the General Catalogue of Siku Quanshu.It is manifested in such aspects as flexible category setting,universal reading method for beginners,pragmatic version recording,harmonizing academic orientation of Han and Song,critical awareness of social criticism and so on.Geng Wenguang’s bibliography thought had the characteristics of both“enlightened”and“conservative”,which opened the transformation of bibliography in the late Qing Dynasty and played a connecting role.It is of great significance to put Geng Wenguang’s academic practice in the background of the formation of modern academic paradigm.
