Zhao Yiheng’s research spans the fields of poetry translation,novel studies,cultural studies,semiotic studies,narrative studies,art studies and so on.How did these studies begin?What were the connections and context between the theories?Based on the points,the interview was conducted.In the interview,Professor Zhao Yiheng talked about some experiences before he had the opportunity to start academic research and the goal he clearly pursued throughout his academic career,but he personally valued the latter more.His unyielding pursuit of life is to construct a theory of formal meaning which is based on rich literary experience,combined with multi-cultural experience,which runs through formal philosophy,broad narrative and art form.
