7月5日,中国海军第40批护航编队圆满完成亚丁湾、索马里海域护航任务,顺利返回广东湛江某军港。这次任务历时172天,累计航行近9万海里,高效完成30批50艘中外船舶护航任务,并为1艘船舶提供医疗救助。
On July 5,the 4Oth Chinese naval escort taskforce wrapped up its escort mission in the Gulf of Aden and waters off Somalia,and returned to a military port in Zhanjiang,China's Guangdong Province.The mission lasted 172 days,with a cumulative voyage of nearly 90,000 nautical miles.The taskforce completed escort tasks for 30 groups of 50 Chinese and foreign ships and provided medical assistance to one ship.
