习近平总书记不仅在实际工作中亲自推动了一系列保护古建筑的开创性工作,而且对“为什么要保护古建筑”“怎样保护古建筑”进行了深入的理论思考和实践探索。保护古建筑意义重大,主要体现在传承古建筑蕴涵的科技历史人文内涵、保存名城传统风貌和个性、为建设美丽中国和美丽乡村增加厚重的文化底蕴以及能更好地为人民群众留下美好的历史记忆四个方面。保护古建筑应妥善处理好保护和发展、经济效益与社会效益、保护与城市建设、保护与改造等辩证关系,重点做好加大古建筑保护宣传力度、建章立制保护古建筑、将古建筑保护纳入地方政府绩效考核体系、加大古建筑专业人员的培养力度、积极筹措古建筑保护需要的资金、加强古建筑消防安全等五个方面的工作。

General Secretary Xi Jinping not only personally promoted a series of pioneering work to protect ancient buildings in actual work,but also conducted in-depth theoretical thinking and practical exploration on“why protect ancient buildings”and“how to protect ancient buildings.”Protecting ancient architecture is of great significance.It is mainly reflected in the four aspects of inheriting the technological,historical and cultural connotations contained in ancient architecture,preserving the traditional features and uniqueness of famous cities,adding rich cultural heritage to build beautiful China and beautiful villages,and being able to better storage in beautiful historical memories for the people.Protecting ancient buildings should properly handle dialectical relationships between protection and development,economic benefits and social benefits,protection and urban construction,protection and renovation,focusing on five areas of work,including increasing publicity for the protection of ancient buildings,establishing regulations to protect ancient buildings,incorporating ancient building protection into local government performance assessment systems,reinforcing the training of ancient architecture professionals,actively raising funds needed to protect ancient buildings,and strengthening fire safety for ancient buildings.
