Taking the current collecting equipment of generator-motor in Liyang Pumped Storage Power Station as a research object,this paper introduces the problem of carbon powder and the harm to units,analyzes the essential causes of producing carbon powder,and summarizes some methods and preventive measures to deal with the problem.It has the guiding significance for the analysis and treatment of similar problems in future.
