摘要
基于2005—2019年中国284个地级市的面板数据,运用固定效应模型研究公共服务与经济增长的关系。结果发现:地方公共服务对区域经济增长作用效果显著,且公共服务对经济增长的作用效果存在区域异质性。西部地区公共服务对经济增长的作用效果显著大于东部和中部地区;自2008年东部地区产业转移以来,公共服务主要通过影响劳动力配置促进地区经济增长。研究结论对提升城市公共服务质量和促进地区经济发展具有重要参考价值。
Based on the panel data of 284 prefecture-level cities from 2005 to 2019,the fixed effects model is used to study the relationship between public services and economic growth.It is found that the local public services play a significant role in regional economic growth,and there are differences in the effects of public services on economic growth in different regions.The effects of public services on economic growth in western regions is significantly greater than that in eastern regions and central regions.Since the industrial transfer from the eastern region in 2008,public services have promoted the regional economic growth by affecting the allocation of labor force.The conclusion of this study is conducive to improving the quality of urban public services and promoting regional economic development.
