摘要
根据OECD报告,全球青少年社会与情感能力发展对学业成绩、生活满意度、心理幸福感、考试焦虑等均产生影响。为此,本研究选取中部某地级市10岁和15岁共192名青少年,采用定量与定性相结合的方法,考察青少年心态对英语口语焦虑和交际意愿的影响。所有被试完成了关于心态、口语焦虑和交际意愿的问卷调查,并对定量样本的其中26名代表进行了半结构化访谈。研究发现:成长型心态与交际意愿具有显著正相关关系,固定型心态与口语焦虑具有显著正相关关系;固定型语言心态显著正向预测口语焦虑;成长型语言心态是交际意愿的正向预测因子。研究结果证实了心态与口语焦虑和交际意愿之间的的重要关系,以期该研究能为促进我国青少年社会与情感能力的培养提供一种新的途径。
According to the OECD report,the social and emotional development of adolescents around the world has an impact on academic performance,life satisfaction,psychological well-being,test anxiety and so on.A total of 192 adolescents aged 10 and 15 in a city in central China were selected to investigate the effect of the mindsets on oral English anxiety and willingness to communicate(WTC).All of them received questionnaires on language mindsets,oral English anxiety,and WTC,followed by semi-structured interviews with 26 representatives.It is found that growth mindset has a significant positive correlation with WTC,and fixed mindset has a significant positive correlation with oral English anxiety;fixed language mindset significantly positively predicted oral English anxiety,and growth language mindset is a positive predictor of WTC.The research results confirm the important relationship between mindsets,oral English anxiety and WTC.It also provide a new way to promote the cultivation of social and emotional ability of Chinese adolescents.
