“宽带中国”政策对企业家创新精神的激励效应研究

Research on the Incentive Effect of the"Broadband China"Policy on Entrepreneurs'Innovative Spirit

基于2009-2019年255个城市的面板数据,将“宽带中国”战略实施作为准自然实验,利用逐期双重差分模型研究政策冲击对城市层面企业家精神的激励效应。结果表明,“宽带中国”政策能够激励企业家精神,在一系列稳健性检验后,结论仍然成立;机制分析表明,提高网络基础设施建设程度、加快政府数字化建设是该政策激发企业家创新精神的主要渠道。

Based on panel data from 255 cities between 2009 and 2019,the research treats implementation of the"Broadband China"strategy as a quasi-natural experiment,and uses period-by-period difference-in-differences model to study the incentive effects of policy shocks on entrepreneurs'spirit at the city level.The results indicate that the"Broadband China"policy can stimulate entrepreneurs'spirit,and this conclusion holds even after a series of robustness tests.Mechanism analysis reveals that improving the level of network infrastructure construction and accelerating government digitization are the main channels through which this policy stimulates entrepreneurs'innovation spirit.
