Research on A Rescue System for the Elderly Based on Internet of Things Technology

【目的】解决留守老人因突发疾病而无法被人及时发现的问题。【方法】提出一种基于物联网技术的老人求救系统,该系统包括定位模块、GSM模块、Zigbee报警模块。【结果】当老人因突发疾病而按下求救按钮或传感器长时间检测不到老人活动信号时,报警器会发出声光报警来提示路人,并将求救短信发送给家属或联系人,同时通过无线方式来启动同村其他留守村民家中的报警器,并由显示器显示求救家庭编号。【结论】通过多种方式及时把老人的求救信息发送出去,大大增加老人被及时救治的概率,具有重要的现实价值。

[Purposes]This paper aims to solve the problem that the left-behind elderly cannot be found in time due to sudden illness.[Methods]A rescue system for the elderly based on Internet of Things technology was proposed,which included a positioning module,a GSM module,and a Zigbee alarm module.[Findings]When the elderly pressed the rescue button due to sudden illness or the sensor could not detect the activity signal of the elderly for a long time,the alarm would send out sound and light alarms to prompt passers-by,and send the rescue text messages to family members or contacts.At the same time,the alarm in the home of other left-behind villagers in the same village was activated wirelessly,and the family number of the rescue was displayed on the monitor.[Conclusions]It is of great practical value to send out the information of the elderly in time through various ways,which greatly increases the probability of the elderly being treated in time.
