On Revenger's Loyal and Chivalrous Spirit in Yuan-Dynasty Dramas

由于血亲观念广为人们认同,血亲复仇也具有不容置疑的执行力,人们尊重血亲复仇者,甚至愿意牺牲自己来帮助和成全他们。因此,在元杂剧中,我们看到很多忠义之士,不惜一切代价为故主复仇;同时,还有诸多侠义之人,路见不平拔刀相助,对弱小的复仇者伸出援手,帮助他们实现复仇。这也从另一个方面证明了血亲复仇的正义性。

For a wide recognition of consanguinity at the time,it's natural for people to accept consanguineous revenge,to respect the consanguineous revenger,and to willingly help him/her at the cost of their own lives.So,in Yuan-Dynasty dramas we can see many loyal men who revenge their late masters by all means and many chivalrous ones who help those in need by revenging them,which proves the justice of consanguineous revenge.
